Fentanyl Remediation

You called the right team for the job

So, what can communities do to respond to this threat safely and effectively? Engaging the help of experts in fentanyl decontamination and remediation is the first step in responding to a crisis. Asheville, NC, fentanyl decontamination and remediation services ensure safe and compliant cleanup in homes, public spaces, and vehicles.

Understanding The Dangers of Fentanyl

When it comes to assessing the need for fentanyl decontamination, it's important to understand that fentanyl can travel through a variety of pathways, including surfaces, air, and water. Furthermore, according to the CDC, fentanyl can be absorbed via inhalation, oral exposure or ingestion, and even via skin contact.

Direct and indirect contact with the drug has been known to cause reduced respiratory function, also known as respiratory depression and, in severe cases, respiratory arrest. The long-term health effects of fentanyl exposure include birth defects, nervous system damage, and overdose. Fentanyl clean-up efforts aim to isolate and disinfect the contaminated area to prevent a threat to public health and safety.
