Victoria White is a 23 year Army veteran. While in the military, she served in many roles, from First Sergeant of an Air Defense Artillery unit to the Senior Career Management Manager for the Army's Electronic Maintenance Career Field of over 6,700 Soldiers. Victoria's tenure at the White House Communications Agency as the Radio and Satellite Communications Program Manager, serving under the Bush and Obama Administrations, saw her orchestrating and providing critical communications support for many events.
Victoria’s 'mission first, Soldiers always' belief was evident in her commitment to Soldier welfare. Some of her efforts included launching a Female Mentorship Program, serving as an Equal Opportunity Leader, and being a Deployed Sexual Assault Response Coordinator. Victoria took many courses and workshops such as Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) that further highlight her role in fostering a culture of support and safety.
After retiring from the Army, Victoria was driven to find a role that resonated with her innate desire to continue to serve, a search that serendipitously led to Bio-One. Now, she continues her mission of making a meaningful difference, providing crucial assistance during some of the most challenging moments in people's lives. This chapter allows Victoria to extend the compassion, empathy, crisis management, and leadership skills honed in the military to those in need within her community.
