Owner
Angela Welbes and David Levin are the owners of Bio-One of Madison. Both were born and raised in the midwest. Angela is originally from Iowa and David from Minnesota. They met in 2015 while they were both living in Wisconsin. Their blended family consists of 3 daughters and a son. The COVID pandemic provided a personal reset that enabled an opportunity to join the growing Bio-One family and the ability to help the surrounding communities of Madison. They are excited to start this new venture together.
I've used Bio-One three times, and each time David and his crew went beyond what they were hired to do by helping me out in other ways. When they came to my condo to collect and dispose of furniture I no longer needed, David discovered and repaired a leaky pipe in my kitchen. They're always courteous, professional, efficient, and mindful of finding a good home for useable items or the best places to recycle unwanted things. I refer them to everyone I know and would use them again without hesitation.

David and Angie of Bio-One were extremely helpful during a very tough situation. I contacted Bio-One to remediate a bio hazard situation in my dads home due to his passing. They were on it within 24 hrs of contacting them, during the initial remediation and clean out they found an additional bio issues with the home which they communicated to me immediately and offered solutions and services to also take care of those problems as well. But not this team – they approach every task without judgment, tackling even the most daunting messes with a can-do attitude. From clearing out an overwhelmingly cluttered and filthy trailer home that required a dumpster, to deep cleaning a trailer that had been neglected with 14 cats (no little boxes), food, dirty clothes and garbage thrown about. What sets them apart is their empathy and understanding. When faced with that cat-inhabited trailer, they didn’t just clean the unimaginable mess – they helped me cope with the emotional distress of witnessing such conditions. They treated the occupant with respect, never looking down on him. Time and again, I’ve been amazed by their willingness to take on any job, no matter how challenging.
