You called the right team for the job

When a person isn’t found right away, there’s often damage to the home that people don’t expect. Sometimes they’re still processing the loss and just don’t know what to do next. That’s when we step in.

We’re trained to handle decomposition and biohazards safely. That means deep cleaning, disinfection, and protecting what can be saved. We move more slowly on the first day to ensure nothing is missed.

Here’s what to expect when we arrive:

  • Certified for OSHA, trauma, and decomposition cleanup.
  • We follow all safety standards and check everything three times.
  • Unmarked vehicles. No logos. Just quiet professionalism.

We don’t just go in and clean it out. We ask, “Is there anything we can get for you?” Our job is to be fully present and help in any way we can.

Need support? Call us 24/7.

What It’s Like to Work With Bio-One

Compassion is our starting point. We’ll stay until you feel ready and the space feels like yours again.

Here’s what to expect:

It starts with a private, no-pressure call. Even if you don’t have all the answers, we’ll guide you. From there, we’ll either arrive ready to do the job or provide a free estimate.

Our biohazard cleanup process happens at your pace. Our trained technicians determine what to keep, clean, or discard. We move carefully and check everything, so nothing gets missed, and your comfort always comes first.

Because we offer professional biohazard cleanup services, we go above and beyond. After cleanup, we go back through and wipe down anything you want saved—photos, heirlooms, furniture. Then we disinfect every surface, triple-checking our work to make sure the space feels safe again.

We tell them it may be covered, and that we’ll deal with it later. That way, you can focus on what matters, not the paperwork.

Even after the cleanup, we check in, follow up, and stay available. If you need anything at all, just call.

We stay until you feel peace in the space again.

You’ll always be in the loop—what’s happening, what’s next, and how to reach us any time.

We respond 24/7.

    We Put People First

Finding someone who has passed away hits hard, especially knowing people think they have to clean it up themselves. The shock of what’s happened can be overwhelming. You don’t expect to be in this situation—no one does.

That’s when we show up, slow things down, and handle it with care. You shouldn’t have to carry this on your own. We’ll figure it out together, one step at a time.

We’ve been in some tough homes. Some people are unsure of what to expect or what they’ll see. We take our time, walk the space with you, and check everything, so nothing gets missed that could retraumatize someone.

We put the needs of people before the pursuit of profit. Every situation is different. We just ask, “What do you need right now?” and go from there.

Here’s what you can count on:

    • Emergency Response Hotline: We answer the phone 24/7 so we can offer immediate assistance.
    • We'll always book the next available.
    • Trained in decomposition, suicide, and biohazard cleanup.
    • Certified in OSHA and trauma scene protocols.
    • We go at your pace: If something looks important, we set it aside and ask, “Want us to wipe this down for you?”
    • We stay until everything is safe, clean, and complete.

Whether it’s a house, car, or apartment, we come quietly, do the work right, and make sure it’s clean and safe again. It’s about trust, presence, and doing the right thing—even when there’s no immediate gain.

Rooted in the Community. Called to Help.

The Local Team You Can Count On

We take pride in being a trustworthy and compassionate company. When people don’t know who else to call, we’re often the ones they send. First responders, local families, even social workers—we’re grateful for the trust. We show up quietly and stay focused on helping.

We work closely with Asheboro Police and the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department. In a small community, discretion matters. That’s why we arrive in unmarked vehicles and take care not to draw attention.

    Here’s what makes us different:

    • Present, Not Pushy: We don’t pressure. We just ask, “What do you need right now?”—and go from there.
    • Discreet Every Time: Unmarked vehicles. No logos. No attention. Just calm, quiet support when you need it most.
    • Compassion Over Everything: We put the needs of people before the pursuit of profit. It’s how we operate, not just what we say.
    • Local and Always Available: We answer the phone 24/7—nights, weekends, holidays. You’ll always talk to someone who cares.
    • Quick to Respond, Careful to Act: We show up fast, but we move slower on the first day to make sure nothing is missed and no one feels rushed.
    • Help With Insurance If You Need It: We tell people it may be covered, and that we’ll deal with it later. Right now, we just want to get you settled again.

Wherever you are in the region, you can count on us to be there, ready to help with compassion, care, and local expertise.

If you are ever in the need for biohazard removal, Bio-One of Asheboro are the people to call. We had a freezer go out and we didn't realize it because it was upstairs (never make that mistake!) and we had not been up there in several weeks. Needless to say we could not even think about how to handle it. I called Bio-One Asheboro and they were there within an hour and had everything cleaned up and removed (freezer and all) within an hour and a half. They checked under the quarter round where it had leaked and they cleaned everything!. They were super professional, nice and understanding of our issue. We couldn't have asked for better service.

After my mother finally realised the living conditions she was in were horrible, she decided it was time to leave. We were left with a mess. I had attempted to start it myself, but it was just not something I could have done on my own. Especially living 3.5 hours away. I was in contact with Social Services in her area already and one day I asked if he had any recommendations for services that did this sort of thing. I was sent Bio-Ones info. So glad I called. (although I did procrastinate for a while before I called). But as soon as I made that contact, things went smoothly and quickly, and every step of the way I was given info and updates. Next thing I know the whole house is empty as requested. Not everyone needs the same service, so don't be afraid to talk over with them what they can do for you. I wanted the house emptied into the garage just to make things easier for me when I go back down to collect the important things. A weight had been lifted off my shoulders, because it was bad and just overwhelming to think about. Now we can focus on the next move with ease. Thanks to Aiden and the Bio-One team!!!

    Frequently Asked Questions

    What is an unattended death?
An unattended death happens when someone passes away and isn’t found right away. Over time, damage can happen to the space, and it’s often more than families can or should handle alone.
Why is professional cleanup necessary after an unattended death?
It’s not just a cleanup—it’s biohazard removal. Bodily fluids and decomposition can carry risks that require special training, gear, and disinfectants. We’re trained to do it safely, and with care.
What are the health risks involved?
Fluids, gases, and airborne bacteria can spread and make the area unsafe. We follow strict safety rules and wear protective gear to clean everything the right way.
    Can it damage the home?
Yes. We’ve seen fluids soak through carpet, padding, even subfloors. Odors, mold, and corrosion can happen quickly. That’s why it’s important to act fast.
Can families clean it up themselves?
We never recommend it. Even with good intentions, it’s easy to miss something—and it’s emotionally heavy. Let us take that burden off your shoulders.
How does Bio-One handle cleanup after an unattended death?
We arrive quietly, listen first, then get to work. We wear protective gear, use special disinfectants, and make sure every surface is safe before we leave.
    What should we do first?
Call the authorities, then give us a call. You don’t need to touch anything or worry about the space—we’ll walk you through what happens next.
How do people cope with the emotional side?
There’s no one right way. We tell families to take their time. Some seek grief counseling or support groups, and we’re happy to share referrals if you’d like them.
How does this cleanup help people move forward?
It gives you space to grieve. We handle the hard part—so you can focus on remembering the person, not what was left behind.
Do you offer any support beyond the cleanup?
Yes. We help with insurance, connect families with grief resources, and check in after the job if you'd like us to. We’re here to help in every way we can.
