Chris Meadows, MHA, CM
Owner
Hi, my name is Chris Meadows and I am the President and Owner at Bio-One of Gaithersburg. I have maintained a passion throughout my life for helping others during times of need. Connecting with community members and positively impacting the places we all call home is what drives me to lead our trusted, experienced, and discrete team. I am honored to continue fueling that passion for the State of Maryland, Washington, D.C., and the State of Virginia. I started my professional career 15+ years ago as a Medical Service Corps Officer in the U.S. Army. After departing active duty service as a Captain, I worked in the medical device and healthcare software sectors helping teams design, develop, and commercialize life-saving medical technologies for patients suffering from heart disease. I have earned a Master of Health Administration degree from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from James Madison University. I continued my education by earning the Certified Manager certification from the Institute of Certified Professional Managers, the Certified Cardiac Device Specialist certification from the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners, and the designation of Fellow from the Heart Rhythm Society. Volunteering in my local community has always been a priority for me. I have served as an Advocate for the Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children, a Mentor with MedTechVets for transitioning veterans, and a Mentor with TERN Mentoring for undergraduate students preparing for professional careers.
Derek and Daniella have an amazing organization. They worked closely with our family on a heartbreaking hoarding situation. Derek has a gift in how best to work with a challenging and troubled person. In addition to his professionalism, he understood the value of establishing rapport, building trust, and giving the homeowner a voice in the process. I learned some important life lessons by watching him with my brother. Responsive, thorough, organized, and compassionate are but a few words that describe Bio-One. We highly recommend their services.
Bruce Cox, Omaha, 2021
We had a visiting relative with a medical issue that resulted in a rather stinky mess that we were in a hurry to get cleaned up. Bio-One responded quickly with helpful information and no pressure. In all my interactions with the owners and staff, I felt like I was working with friends. Most importantly, they safely cleaned up the area and removed the horrendous odor. Their personable and caring attitudes would be especially beneficial for traumatic situations that I'm sure they encounter with some of the other services they provide!
