Seth Ramey from Bio One was the most crucial, helpful person one could find in a crisis. The Sacramento Co Coroner notified us our son body was found at his sm house in Orangevale Ca. in Nov; his body in a warm house decomposing 10-12 days. This is a complex public health matter. Bio One which handles trauma scenes arrived promptly at the house; they were recommended by the City of Folsom. Seth Ramey moved into action. He provided critical assistance, sound advice and compassion. For a number of days we could not enter ( Coroner signage) then Seth’s well trained team began a massive clean up project moving junk and items into large Haz-Mat cans, removing carpet, traces of bodily waste, contaminated clothing and disinfecting all. Seth offered advice and council about clean up and repair of the house which resembled a homeless camp: drywall damage, ruined floors, doors off hinges, filth and neglect. I am 75 years old facing this mostly alone and in next two months Seth Ramey was a godsend; he talked with me a dozen times at every critical juncture. Seth is the absolute best! After our two dogs got skunked in our backyard and brought the odor into every room in our house, Seth was quick to respond and help us get our house back to normal. Not only was he immediately responsive, but he was also honest and fair in his help. He suggested we try some simple home remedies first to reduce the odor and then brought in his ozone treatment machine as the final step to remove any remaining odors. I received several estimates and chose Bio-One because they were the most affordable for me; and, I appreciated Seth's immediate response to my inquiry for an estimate based on pictures I took. From that point on he was immediately responsive to every one of my inquiries. When he sent me the initial final estimate he worked with me to include wording on the estimate that I felt comfortable with to ensure everything I wanted to be addressed would be. I received a revised estimate with the wording I requested and the final estimate was similar to the initial estimate--with an added service for shampooing my rugs. He provided me the names of the people I should expect and Angelo, Erick, and Rob showed up just as he told me they would. Angelo was great at guiding me with their process and asking me what I wanted done. If there was a questionable item that they came across they made sure to ask me if I wanted it thrown out and gave me the time to look at the item without making me feel rushed. I feel really good about the way Erick cleaned my refridgerator and stove, the way Angelo cleaned by bathroom and patio, and the way Rob took care of addressing the rug areas I wanted cleaned. It was a 2-day job and by the end of the first day my apartment was feeling livable again. Thank you Bio-One team for making me feel comfortable during this process!

Our family inherited a house that was full of hoarding items combined with other unsanitary conditions. It truly was an overwhelming situation that seemed impossible to rectify. If you need help (trust me, you will) clearing the home of a hoarding relative call Bio-One. This isn't something they can do, this is their specialty. We I literally couldn't have completed the job without them. They were responsive, prompt, pleasant to work with, and cheaper than the competitors. The level of service they provided was beyond my expectations. They removed junk from inside and outside of the house, making multiple runs to the dump each day. They disposed of dead animals and vacuumed up animal droppings. They exercised discretion, setting aside potential items of value. Their knowledge was extensive and critical given the variety of unexpected items we found (a dead opossum, assorted chemicals, tires, electronics, etc.). I can't emphasize enough how helpful the team was, not only for the hard work, but also for the compassion and moral support.

Seth was amazing to work with. My project was on a narrow timeline and he was very responsive and went above and beyond to provide great service.
