I asked for skinny fire fighters and Albuquerque did not send them. My house was such a mess but I figured it would be worse if it burned down. AFR got me in touch with the HEART program and I met Cristian who is a Paramedic Lieutenant, HEART Division. He encouraged me and brought up the idea of Bio-One and I met Nicole. She came and saw my house and told me it wasn’t’ the messiest in New Mexico. [I do think I get honorable mention.] I told her I wanted to clean myself and she let me know that had never happened. She gave a bid with me helping or her crew does it all. It is easy to know which would cost more. The best thing is Nicole and the Cleaning Team let me go at my pace and after two months they have removed more than 100 bags of trash that I have bagged up. I probably have one more visit to take trash away and I know the team will help with that. They will also encourage you along the way and work on your schedule. Clean while you are doing something fun like Monday Night Football with Troy Aikman & Joe Buck & the energetic new opening night theme song. This will be the end result: I will have an open house and invite everyone. Political figures, News Media, My Support Group + Neighborhood. It will likely be another several months of painting and other fixes. My 3-Bedroom house will be open for spa days for my support group to relax in a safe comfortable place during Holiday events. Win-Win for me and everyone. A healthy place to live and thrive and work on my mobility. And always we will watch the NFL.

I had been living with piles and piles of trash in all my spaces for over a year before I started reaching out to companies for help. I had contacted 10-15 places on a frantic Saturday, not expecting a fast response. Nicole with Bio One responded to me not only immediately, but with COMPASSION and EMPATHY for what I was going through. Together we made a plan, and four days later she met me in my embarrassingly disgusting apartment and got to work. Throughout the entire process she communicated with me what was happening as I was too embarrassed to stay there while her team worked. They got more done in one day than I could’ve in months. Never once did they make me feel ashamed or embarrassed with anything they did. They sorted through my piles and piles of trash to make sure nothing important would get thrown away. Bio One has changed my life. After just a couple short days of work (I live on the third floor in a walk up if you can imagine how laborious it must’ve been to get box truck after box truck full of trash to the dump), my apartment is completely changed. They organized my kitchen. They washed my dishes. They got the nasty bugs out of my sink and fridge. They cleaned a bathroom that was disgusting. They got my sinks going full power again. They went through my pantry and got rid of moldy food. They made sure I was ok with each step of the process. This is the first time in this apartment that I am able to have a Christmas tree. My dogs have a safe home. I have my life back. Anyone can be hired to throw away trash. But I truly believe that it takes a special type of person to sift through it, clean a home with kindness, and treat the client with compassion and understanding. I felt such despair prior to having Bio One come help me. The estimate was fast (the day I first messaged them), the price was EXTREMELY reasonable, and it is honestly really nice they they want to help you and will work with you. They put the PERSON 1st.
