Bio-One of Poway partners with many local businesses that generate medical waste to help remove and dispose of it. As a locally-based company, we’re proud to support our community in this way.

We follow state guidelines for the safe removal and disposal of our regularly scheduled medical waste pickups. Weekly, monthly, and quarterly transportation is offered from facilities such as:

  • Medical examiner offices
  • Hospitals
  • Nursing homes

If you produce medical waste, we can dispose of it for you. Our clearly marked containers prevent any user error during transportation and disposal. When done correctly, the risk is minimized and our job is complete. 

We offer training to teach paramedics and first responders how to deal with medical waste. Many healthcare workers come in contact with it every day.

Our training involves methods of how to best handle it as well as how to limit risks associated with its handling.

"I can't say enough good things about this company! During my search for a mold inspector, I was given the name and phone number for Rene Flohr. My call was answered within minutes. Rene came to my home in Ocean Beach from Poway at 6:00 AM to assess the situation. He did not find any mold, just a little bit mildew in the shower drain and seam. He gave me instruction of how to clean the mildew. When I called Rene, I mentioned that I was under extreme time-pressure to have the job done. Hence his amazing effort to meet me at 6:00 am. Bio One Poway was a life saver for us when it came time to clean up a family property that had been neglected for years - it was honestly quite a mess, but after a few days of work, the place was unrecognizable!
