Washington DC Hoarding Cleanup

The team was on time, smart, caring, compassionate, efficient, experts at cleaning and disinfecting everything. I had become a hoarder and three months severe back pain prevented me from keeping my place up. It was awful but I felt no shame with the way they handled things. They restored my apartment to being spotless and clean for a healthy living environment as I recover from my spinal fusion surgery. They even found my missing Apple Pencil. I have a new life thanks to them. I cannot recommend them more.

We recently needed to clear and clean a condo that had been subjected to a couple of decades' worth of clutter and neglect. In order to accommodate the occupant, we needed to be able to break the task down into two or more sessions rather than address it all at once. After vetting multiple companies we hired BioOne. Tony, the owner, worked with us on a plan and estimate that allowed us to efficiently tackle the worst issues in two full days. The crew--Chad, Jermaine, Quinn, and Mason--worked hard and accomplished a great deal in terms of removal, grouping remaining items, and initial cleaning. When we mentioned to Tony that some of the planned deep cleaning had not been completed due to time constraints, he arranged to send a cleaning crew out on Day 3. Shannon and LaKeisha did excellent work and left the place in a condition that exceeded our expectations. We're very happy with the services we received from BioOne and felt they were professional, responsive, efficient, and frankly delivered a better value than other companies we priced for the job. We would recommend them to anyone in the DMV who needs to address a severely cluttered property.

They helped us deal with a family member’s home that had level 4 hoarding and extreme infestation by cockroaches and some mice. We had initially used another firm that was recommended to us, specializing in trash and junk removal. After they removed some items, they found they were unwilling/unable to complete the job in this hoarding situation. My wife did some research and located Bio-One, a locally owned firm in DC that specializes in hoarding cleanout. We spoke with Tony Holloman, a co-owner at Bio-One DC who conducted a review of the property and recommended what we needed to do. Tony is knowledgeable, very easy to deal with, respectful and understanding with the mental issues driving people to hoarding. We hired Tony and his firm right away and they were able conduct the clean-out and clean-up almost immediately upon our schedule. Tony and his crew and Bio-One clearly are experts in their field, were able to completely clean out, disinfect and fumigate the entire residence and stayed until the job was completed. The work was amazing and the entire house was sparkling clean! The work was professionally conducted, Tony and his team of experts were respectful of the residents and very easy to work with. The results were beyond our expectation – and all done at a fair, reasonable price. With COVID-19 and increased rat presence, while we do have a rodent control contractor, but the rats became relentless with waste all over our patio Bio One was very responsive, coming in less than 24 hours and extremely thorough, cleaning the waste and disinfecting everything from the patio tiles, artificial grass, patio furniture and more. It now smells super clean and actually gave our patio a spring cleaning! Haha. Thank you! Highly recommend.

Tremendous service and worth every penny. They had a team out the very next day to address a big rodent dropping cleanup job. They went above and beyond and the final result was amazing.

I called Bio-One DC and they were able to send someone the next day to clean up my storage room. The technician called ahead to make sure I was aware when she would come. The technician did a great job cleaning the room. She spent time checking all the areas in the room. At the end, she also gave me some tips on avoiding the problem in the future.

A week ago, I had an emergency need for a biohazard service and a short time frame of a few hours to finish it. Bio-One DC made immediate arrangements, completed the job swiftly and perfectly, and sent a specialist who was excellent and kind. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!!

BioOne came out quickly and did an excellent job cleaning a bedroom of rodent droppings. Jermaine was so professional. Cleaning was done quickly and very throughly. And he used professional-grade fogger at end too. Now it smells so fresh. I’m a highly satisfied customer. And so relieved that it’s safe to use that room again.
