Bio-One of Utah partners with many local businesses that generate medical waste to help remove and dispose of it. As a locally-based company, we’re proud to support our community in this way.

We follow state guidelines for the safe removal and disposal of our regularly scheduled medical waste pickups. Weekly, monthly, and quarterly transportation is offered from facilities such as:

  • Medical examiner offices
  • Hospitals
  • Nursing homes

If you produce medical waste, we can dispose of it for you. Our clearly marked containers prevent any user error during transportation and disposal. When done correctly, the risk is minimized and our job is complete. 
 
We offer training to teach paramedics and first responders how to deal with medical waste. Many healthcare workers come in contact with it every day.

Our training involves methods of how to best handle it as well as how to limit risks associated with its handling.

Chad went above and beyond for us! We were concerned about cigarette smoke damage to a home, and he came out to give us an estimate. He could have easily convinced us that we needed $10k in services, as we have no experience in this area. Instead, he was open and honest, and told us that, while the home needs a professional deep clean (and a few other things), realistically it doesn't need the type of cleaning Bio-One specializes in. Even though he knew we probably won't need his services, he went out of the way to thoroughly check everything out, and gave us some excellent advice. The honesty, helpfulness, and professionalism, left a big impression. If we ever need decontamination services, Bio-One will be the first place we call!

My father passed away in an Incredibly traumatic way. I called this company, and spoke to Joe. I was blown away immediately. It was Easter weekend and he worked late, and encouraged others to work late to take care of the cleanup. He fought for me to get insurance to cover their work as he do not like to do family members directly. He went above and beyond, with compassion and gentleness that I will never forget! I have an apartment I’m trying to get cleaned with severe pet damage. I had Chad come out to do a quote, relatively instantly i might add. To my surprise, he told me the service he does is too intense for this apartment and pointed me in the direction of a traditional cleaning service for much cheaper. Really nice guy, very honest, would’ve loved to use this company.
